AIIMS Delhi, in Ansari Nagar, South Delhi, is where a great many families from outside the city spend weeks they did not plan for. Our nearest homes are not at the gate. They are three to five kilometres away in Hauz Khas, Amar Colony, Lajpat Nagar, Kailash Colony and East of Kailash, a drive of about six to seven minutes at a quiet time of day. Safdarjung Hospital is only a few hundred metres from AIIMS, so the same homes serve both.

What a home gives you that a hotel room does not is a kitchen, a door of your own, and space for the person who is not the patient to sleep, wash and eat properly. Is there anywhere to stay within walking distance of AIIMS?

Not with us: our nearest homes are a short drive away. For the hospital’s own options for attendants, such as rest houses and dharamshalas, ask AIIMS directly before you travel, because availability and rules change and some need a doctor’s written permission. A private home with a kitchen is the trade-off for a short drive.

What do we need to check in?

Every guest must show valid government photo ID at check-in, which the caretaker checks or shares with our team. Bookings are for adults aged 18 or over. Check-in and check-out times are on each listing; if the hospital schedule means a very early or late arrival, message us before you book.

What if treatment dates change and we need more nights?

Each home has its own cancellation tier, shown on the listing before you book. Changing dates counts as cancelling the original booking and booking again, and the original home’s tier applies, so contact us before you change anything. Whether the home is free for different nights depends on its calendar, and our team will tell you.
